We have a firm date!

Parks and Rec has committed to allowing NTC back in the Olinder Theater on September 30th!

I strongly believe that a large reason for this is because of all of you. Your assistance, your support, and your emails to the city officials have borne fruit (more about the emails in a moment.)

The best news is that A Christmas Carol is a GO! (Sorry for all the exclamation marks, but I am so excited about this happy turn of events.)

What does this mean, in practicality, for NTC?

Now about your emails: I cannot say how much your support and communication have meant to us at NTC. You have really put the "Community" in "Community Theater." It is important to communicate to our City officials how grateful we are that they recognize the importance of NTC. If you sent an email to the Mayor Liccardo, or to Councilman Peralez, please take the time to send them a follow up "Thank you for showing that San Jose listens."

In addition to the Mayor and Councilman, we would like to take this time to thank the Office of Public Works, and the Parks and Recreation department. We look forward to continuing our partnership with them and producing stellar theater productions. We will continue to be committed to theatre for all people, without regard to age, race, creed, culture or physical abilities. To be devoted to the manifestation of the human spirit by creating dramatic art through heart, collaboration and exploration.

All of us at Northside have found NTC a very special place in which to work, discover and create, and we cannot wait to show you what we have in store next!

Thank you emails can be sent to the following:

Council Member Raul Peralez:

Mayor Sam Liccardo:

With my deepest gratitude,
